Krishnapuram Palace is an 18th-century architectural marvel built by Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma of the Travancore Kingdom. This historic gem blends traditional Kerala and Dutch architectural styles, featuring intricate woodwork, a naduthalam courtyard, and elegant carvings. The palace houses a Museum and Art Gallery that proudly displays ancient artifacts, coins, statues, and swords, along with the iconic Gajendramoksham mural, the largest mural painting in Kerala. The Kayamkulam sword and other antique items make the museum an enriching experience for history enthusiasts.
